About Cassandra
My name is Cassandra Lange (she/they), and I am a white, queer, polyamorous, nonbinary woman. I am a polyamory-affirming, queer-affirming, gender-affirming, and kink-affirming therapist. This means that I have a depth of knowledge in these areas and approach your identities with warmth and non-judgement. I also approach therapy from a social justice lens: I believe strongly in anti-racism work, sex workers’ rights, and fat positivity.
I’m originally from Buffalo, NY, then spent time in Delaware, Philly, and North Carolina before finally returning home. I received my MSW and MEd in Human Sexuality from Widener University’s clinical sexology program, which focuses on training therapists in sex and relationship therapy. When I left for graduate school I had a dream of bringing high-quality care for queer, kinky, and polyamorous folks back home to Buffalo, and that’s exactly my goal with Queer City Therapy.
